well, i still am running around like a madman trying to finish the season up but i have had some drama. lol. i have managed to put a good ol fashioned whoopin on my poor raptor. i lost the rear brake caliper which lead to me flipping it twice. i just blew the corners cuz i couldnt slow down. first one wasnt bad but the second one, well, i thrashed the plastics, possible bent frame, bent steering stem and handlebars, radiator is done, and i am sure theres more but i just shoved it in the back of the garage and there it sits. my 450 also has a situation. last winter i went to an indoor race and when i was pounding thru the whoops, i hit this big ass rock right under my footpeg. it ended up derailing my chain cuz i hit it so hard. i didnt really think nothing of it until recently when i started riding it again. something wasnt right cuz when i picked up the front end one tire would stay on the ground longer than the other side. well the dam frame twisted when i hit the rock at the indoor track. its a nightmare..... so now since im doing decent in the points this year i went and jumped off the deep end.. i found one of the new yfz 450r yamahas with fuel injection and aluminum frame at a price i couldnt pass up so i got it. i threw some nerf bars, an exhaust, programmer, and a kill switch and took it racing in missouri last weekend. thats kinda why ive been mia as of late. i went to wisconsin to get it, wrenched on it, and took it racing. i been busy! anyhow, i took sum pics of the new ride for yall to see. That new 450 is sweet, do you love it. I bet it is lighter

thanks guys! i just ended up buying a cd with all the pics that they took of me for the year so i threw some of them up.
its true, the blue one is lighter than the white one but you cant swap parts around. the new one is fuel injected and aluminum frame, the blue is steel framed and carbed. they just kinda have the same look. its all good, the raptor has them both beat as far as wieght goes. its a heavy beast so the white 450 seem real light compared to the rap. lol. my biggest issue ended up being that the raptor has sooo much torque that i just got her up into 3rd or 4th gear (depending on the track) and just left it, i didnt shift the whole race even in the corners. the torque pulled it thru. either one of the 450s require alot more gearbox stirring to get em going fast so i had to learn how to ride em right. i got em down now tho.
who is the guy in the race dirt? you know him? dude was passing all kinds of people out there. that looks like a fun race...
