About two weeks until Hangtown MX gate drops for the 2010 outdoor championship. Can Dungey win another title? Alessi and a 2011 KTM 350 have enough power? Can Pourcel be stopped? No Glen Helen? Can Tomac get results? Lots of questions to be answered. I am looking forward to watching some outdoor MX. Freestone MX 450 parade lap.

my money is going to be on eli tomac being slightly more impressive then barcia was. simply because, barcia wasnt completely fit when he started. eli's dad is an extreme mountain biker. i gotta think eli does alot of training. not to mention the training program he will pick up on with that team.
hoping canard can finally get himself a long awaited overall victory. hangtown will have alot of specualation, but i dont know if its really going to set the pace for the rest of the series. i mean, chad reed might take a bit to get going, dungey will start strong like supercross but i wouldnt be suprised if he faulters a bit mid season like usual. pourcel, he should have this other then maybe jake weimer picking up where he left off last year.
i hate that glen helen got anal. stupid!!! bring on pala raceway!! they will be on the circuit for the next 3 years, might as well be on the end of this one too. lol.

Mike Brown is gunna race Hangtown. Hope Brownie can score a few points to keep that national #3. Villopoto will be out all of outdoors, maybe US open or SX2011. I agree Dungey, Reed, Townley, and Alessi should be up there in the top 5. The lites class is to close to call. But #377 should take the title this year. He knows the tracks this year.

villopoto is really going to be out that long? i mean, i thought he broke his tib n fib. not his femur. maybe i heard wrong. i was hoping he'd return intime for unadilla. i love watching that track. its always so dam loamy. lol.
450s: grant townley metcalf
250s: barcia pourcel canard
these are my guesses for overall. i honest doubt that anyone will be just dominant on the first round really. i think starts are going to play a huge part on some of the bigger names.
how awesome would it be to see pourcel and barcia go head to head the way that they are aggressive with each other? oooo-weee!! i can wait. going to bed early tonight and sleeping in tomorrow so that the race is brodcast earlier. lol.

well, i think alot of guys may have picked up the intensity from round 1. what with getting a better setup, able to put in alot of testing, and get more fit and used to the heat, ectc..., i think the first round was key to making momentum for the seres, but hard to say who will be up fron til maybe round 4. then you should be able to see who is in the actual hunt for champion. thats just my thinkings of it.
with that said.....
450; townley reed dungey
250; canard barcia pourcel
i dont know why, but i just have this weird sense of pourcel not getting the best of starts for some reason. or at least one of them. lol. maybe its just hope. lol.
