He doesn't know how to ride smart. That's his problem. If he rode smooth and collective, he probably wins the championship hands down. Instead he rides like an idiot and goes for the knock out punch in the 1st laps and doesn't realize he has a full 20 laps to do his bidding. Doesn't matter how much you beat them by. A win is a win. 25 points in the standings either way. That is something Stewart has yet to realize and what separates him from the greatest riders of all time.
Side note, Congrats to RV1 and to 22. Huge for both of these guys. Reed looks to be getting a lot more factory support going into next season and outdoors. KW14 had me screaming on my couch just like Dirt said. When he went quad for quad with Stewart early on and showed he wasn't going down without a fight. Hell, he was catching Stewart. How I wish this series was like 25 races long. 17 rounds is no where near long enough!

Was I stoked for K-Dub, Yes. DO I wish that he would have showed that kind of speed all year long, Yes. Do I think that it is Stewarts fault for K-Dub going down, No.
It was a racing incident. I've read on some of the other forums that people are blaming Stewart like it was a purposeful take out. I guess you can't win for loosin... If JS7 isn't going that fast and doing crazy stuff, people are dissin him and complaining, asking why he isn't going as fast as he can go. If JS7 is going as fast as he can go and then crashes, people are dissin him and complaining, saying that he deserved it, he is an idiot, or he needs to quit racing. When Stewart quit racing, people were dissin him and complaining... whinning and wondering when he is going to be back, why isn't he racing, yada yada yada.
I am bummed for K-Dub, though I think people forget that he was on a bike, and made a decision, three other riders behind them all changed direction in the woop section (with a I think Reed barely getting by) K-Dub also made a last minute decision to try to "wheely" over Stewarts bike. Now some could argue that K-Dub had no where to go, but I have heard all season long that you are not supposed to follow if you want to pass.
So did K-Dub make a mistake by following, and trying to wheely over his bike? I don't think so... In the same manner that I do not think it was JS7's fault either. The track was dry, and one line. There was one fast line and everyone was staying in it. Everyone was doing the same lines. This is why you saw some pretty fast guys not make up a whole lot of ground if they got a bad start.
I would have been stoked to see K-Dub win the thing, and I think he deffinitly had the speed to capitalize on a mistake from Stewart, but what happened happened. It was a racing incedent in my opinion.
I think RV rode a smart race, and he deserved the Title, he had the most wins, and has really not had the best of luck in the Big bike class. This is the first season that he has completed since moving up to the 450's, so it is about time!
Outdoors is going to be Epic.

Kdub wasn't following brotha. He was on the riders left going through tem, while stewart was on the riders right. But yea, its a racing incident, but he does them too often. The "fastest man on the planet" should be able to go faster then everyone else and stay up at the same time..... to me, he's just the biggest risk taker now.

I understand DiRt, and wasn't trying to say that K-Dub was following, I was just trying to prove the point that there was a fast line, and everyone was taking it. All to say that I didn't think it was really anyone fault.
I know (like most people) that I wouldn't even be able to hold on to the bike at the speed that JS7 goes. I also think that if I was even to try to go as fast as some of the local pros (back when I was riding, who are not even fast enough to make into a SX or MX main event) that I would probably crash my brains out (oh wait a min... ;D)
I also know that it was the media that gave him the name "fastest man on the planet" a few year back - I even remember watching an interview with him and the interviewer called him that, and he was like "i guess so" (<- paraphrased) When people start calling your a nick name, you start to adopt it. Kinda like RC adopted the nick name of "GOAT."
I know that at the level those guys ride, that all of them have made mistakes, RV2 had some crashes this year trying to go fast... K-Dub crashed at H-Town trying to go fast, along with a couple of other riders.
I guess the only solution to not crashing as much is to go slower, which would equal not winning, and I don't think any rider on the track has the intentions of not winning. ;D
