I bought BFBC2 and have yet to have my Steam work so I could plaay it. It worked long enough for the payment to go through but when it came time to download it died and hasnt came back since. Damn robbers. I will probably get it for PS3 depending on how many I know who get it and will certainly get it for PC but not through Steam, ever again.

Treyarch community manager Josh Olin has said that the Frostbite 2 engine powering Battlefield 3 looks "really beautiful".
Speaking to HipHopGamerShow, the Call of Duty: Black Ops man said: "It was a visually stunning engine. I think it was the Fault Line trailer they released, it had some awesome Direct X11 effects going on. I know it was running on PC, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it on Xbox 360 and PS3."
Asked whether Activision's Call of Duty studio's need to up the ante visually, Olin said: "Irrespective of what anybody else does, we always need to be elevating that quality bar.
"The Call of Duty engine's very lightweight, versatile and... it's something that our team's just really experienced with, both teams are. The engine's really good, it's a very powerful engine, and we can layer in and update things if we want to, like in World at War when we really blew out the fire technology."
Is cod ever going stop using 15 year old engine is what he thinking.

Dungey's super pumped feeling doesn't even come close to what I think about that game.

Looking good going need a good PC to have graphic like that though.I think they playing this game on a 580 GTX which is around 500 dollar. This is a squeal to Battlefield 2 and not Bad company 2 and glad actually a company making PC lead platform.

“MW3″ vs “BF3″ fight turns ugly The showdown between next fall’s biggest first-person shooters escalated at E3 this week, with EA’s and Activision Blizzard’s top brass exchanging some vitriol. Bobby Kotick, Activision Blizzard’s CEO first went on CNBC on Monday claiming that EA’s “Battlefield 3″ was just a PC title with only a ”small audience.” In response, EA’s CEO, John Riccitiello, told Reuters that Kotick was spreading misinformation about “Battlefield 3″ and that contrary to what Kotick said, it would be widely available on consoles. Here’s what both CEOs told me: BOBBY KOTICK, CEO, ACTIVISION BLIZZARD “We just want to stay true to the interest of the Call of Duty fans and we try to not get distracted by what people are doing. I can’t objectively tell you what I think of other products until I see them. Battlefield I’ve only seen on a PC and nobody’s seen it on a console yet. Most of our consumers play games on a console. Until I see it on a console, I wouldn’t be objective on commenting on it.” JOHN RICCITIELLO, CEO ELECTRONIC ARTS “It’s the beginning of the war and (Kotick) recognizes they’re going to be threatened. We’re going to have a clash of the titans this fall. The very fact that he’s trying to cast doubt on our game is a perfect example of how we got his goat. In terms of where this goes, we think our PS3 game is better than their Xbox game and our PC game is better than their PC game. If that’s all he’s got to say, it’s obviously going to evaporate as we launch all three. If you went to our press conference, you saw the PS3 footage and the Xbox footage. If Bobby thinks that is PC footage, he’s in real trouble.” blogs.reuters.com/mediafile/2011/06/09/modern-warfare-3-vs-battlefield-3-fight-turns-ugly/So it looks like BF3 will be like this PC>PS3>XBOX

EA started to give to give out codes for the alpha build of the game. It is locked to medium setting so this isn't even the highest graphic setting.
