Well jim, I bugged the wife while I was at wlamart, target, and driving by 2 gamestops. Unfortunatly, a vegas trip next weekend for her means save what we can til afterwards... at least. So, no dirt 3 this week brother. Possibly in a couple more. And I'm out there with you guys. I'm sure I could podium before long. Is the gameplay at all like dirt2? Maybe I can freshin up on my driving skills, but it won't help if its really different. Lol.

You could definitely benefit from spending a little time behind the D2 wheel. With D3 there is less slipping and sliding which gives you a bit more confidence when things get out of control. You are gonna love it. By the way, we had 20 drivers in the last Rally event this past Wednesday and expect a few more for the upcoming event in Norway and we've got 16 drivers signed up for round 1 of the DiRTCRoSS series this afternoon. Things are going well in the DiRT. This is a clip of the latest DLC track pack. It's an 8 stage Rally pack ($10) and it is amazing. Check it out:

Well jim, I know that most the "hardcore" guys moved on to dirt3, but I got on dirt2 in a full public room. I had/ have the lowest online ranking (still). I was on every podium I entered and won 4 of the rallycross races. I think I still got some goods, but I feel like I need to finess my corners a bit still. Lol. Hopefully when I do show up, I am a top 5 guy. Its a tall order, but dammit, I gotta make that check! Got kids to feed man! .... okay, I don't that I know of, but I could one day! Hahaha

Hahaha I remember you had some great speed last time we raced together. DiRT2 still has a solid following. If you're running well there I have no doubt you'll do well in D3. Keep that bug in Santa's ear!

well Jim i could use a little help here buddy ..been working hard to get the ktm on the podium I don't know how much help I'll be Doc as I haven't played Alive since the first part of May. Unfortunately it may be a while. My boy decided he needed a Nintendo DS and a few games a month or so ago. I ended up trading in a few games as credit toward it. As a result I've been without Reflex and Alive since late May. I'm hoping to pick up a copy this fall. Until then, see you in the DiRT!

Personally, I want the game! Lol.

Playing with the You Tube Upload feature in DiRT3 today. The game allows you to record and upload gameplay clips. Pretty cool feature. My editing skills are pretty poor, but the feature is pretty cool.

In D3 they've done a fantastic job of letting the player experience the sport of Rally as it has evolved over the past 40 years. You have cars from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, early 2000s and the current model year. This clip illustrates what I'm referring to:
