Sony seems very sincere with their efforts. I like my PS3 and hope things get back to normal soon. What is PSN+ by the way? Sony is going to offer this service for free, but what is it? A coupon for a large pizza and a box of Cut Throat would be fantastic! What do ya say Mr. Sony?

You are getting it for 30 days and you just get discount on the store for certain items and get early access for some demo and betas.

"We are Anonymous, We are Legion, We are Many..."
Mark 5:9 (King James Version) 9And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

When we held the press conference in Japan last week, based on what we knew, we expected to have the services online within a week. We were unaware of the extent of the attack on Sony Online Entertainment servers, and we are taking this opportunity to conduct further testing of the incredibly complex system. We know many of you are wanting to play games online, chat with your friends and enjoy all of the services PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have to offer, and trust me when I say we’re doing everything we can to make it happen. We will update you with more information as soon as we have it. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience of this network outage. blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/06/service-restoration-update/Well I guess no PSN this week but they didn't rule it out they sad they are still tryn.

Yeah... Like Sloey said, The PSN isn't going to be back up when Alive is released...
I wonder how that is going to effect the "free stewart compound download" for everyone on the first day... or the massive DLC package they they were going release on opening day.
I don't even want to imagine if Anonymous attacks the PSN network again, and the PSN network gets shut down again.
No X-Box 360 in the future for me... so it's ganna suck having a toned down game, with the intent of DLC, and no means to get it.

Sony said the store won't be on as soon as the network is back up. It could be until the end of the month. So we won't be getting any of the alive dlc until then.

By what they are saying is that the network is is testing stage so when ever it passes the test it could come back on. The thing is it could be tomorrow or a week. I don't think it will be easy to hack it again can't say never because anything could be hacked.
Also Sony ads should be
Make. Believe (that your online. ;D)

Theres a post on MXvsATV.com that states that MSN had an article speaking about an "observer" in a secure "hack chat room" saw that hackers already have access to a couple of Sony's servers, and are going to launch a full on attack when the PSN comes back up.
I looked for the article and could not find it. So lets hope that he was just blowin smoke...

I don't have money for an X-Box, and I hate their controllers. I guess I will have to live with the tracks that are going to be on the disc when I get it. I'm not to worried about SX, I play MX 99% of the time anyways. Though it would be nice to get the Stewart Compound... Maybe by the time the PS Store comes back up, I will have enough XP points to actually have my rider out of the "goon" stage.

I agree with you on the controllers Mikey, Sony wins this argument. Either all wifes ae the same or you are secretly married to my wife! LoL JK - Yeah... even if I did have the money, I still wouldn't buy one for Alive. I like the X-Box, and the Kinect, and there are certain games that I have enjoyed playing on there with the controller not being an issue, though I have tried playing Reflex, Untamed, and Unleashed on an X-Box and sucked horribly. I'll be waiting this one out....

Yea the xbox controller is horrible ,really awkward... I mean I guess if you play it long enough you would get used to it , like anything else ... But what's with the joysticks being offset?!? Looks like they were just trying to b different or something....and boy did they accomplish that..
