USA wins again in 2009, I am pleasantly surprised. Did yall see Tony Carolli wad his brains on in the 3 race? His YZF was taco'd bad. Dungey gapped the field. Yay!

i sure hope ur right manny. RV2 left the fastest man i believe. he had dungey covered. but idk. dungeys gotten faster and A TON more confident. and as much as ud all like to. u cant forget about stewart. i hope everyone is healthy all year long. if so. 2011 will be thee best year of 450 racing EVER. pourcel. canard. short. dungey. stewart. villopoto. windham. metcalf. maybe this year the 450s will be just as exciting to watch as the 250s.

I have to agree with you Hillstrom! Dungey is a force to be recogned with! He is currently the fastest man in the world! He beat Caroli, Reed, K-Dub, Metcalf, and Stewart (just to name a few very fast riders)! I think Dungey is the Real Deal, he has the work ethic, the speed, the bike, and everything that is at Carmichael's.
Though I believe Stewart and RV are faster than him on any given day, neither one of them are as consistent as Dungey, which makes a big difference in a championship series.
I am super excited about the 450's! Canard never finished off the podium when he was filling in for Short, Pourcel is not to be forgotten about since he is one fast Frenchmen! Stewart and RV are by far the fastest riders, Weimer is also very quick in SX, dungey will be defending his title, and Metcalf stated that he is going to focus more on SX this year to become faster! Reed is no slug as well, and through in K-Dub who is fast enough to steal a win from anyone of those guys, along with Millsaps, Grant, Tedesco, along with a super conistan Short that are all capable of winning when the top guys arent there, it is going to be an exciting season.
Hopefully everyone stays healthy, though past has shown that that is usually not the case.

hell, all i want is to see RV and stewart and now even dungey go at it outdoors. i really could care less about sx. i think all the real talent shows outdoors. but i still am damn sure lookin forward to more racing. idc where it is. seems like we'll never see all these guys goin at it tho...like a fuckin curse for the 450s not to give us all the fastest riders. lol. i mean we dont even send in our fastest guys to the mxon and we STILL won. had to throw that in there. lol

I agree, true Rider Talent does not show unless they are outdoors. Outdoors is the heartbeat of our sport! SX is just show, you only get one 20 lap main with lap times that are under a minute. Outdoors, you get two 30-40 min moto's!
We will never see Stewart outdoors again, the only reason he did Unadilla was in hopes of making the MXoN team.
I thought we sent our fastest riders this year, Dungey won 450 Championship, Canard won 250 Championship, and Short was 2nd all season long until the last round or two. Short was raced 6-8 rounds with a broken toe!
I really wish RV would sit out SX! It would be nice to see him race with those guys, but he has been on 450's for 2 years now and has only completed 1 national... I am dieing to see his Speed outdoors!

Yea it does. I agree, steel city setup shouldn't be for from this one, other then the F.I.M. requirements of course. Lol.
There's a lot of fast guys nowadays, escpecially from other countries. I think its gonna be tuff, but USA can pull it off!
