i know its not me, but man, i really wish it was!!! i just got sad again. Hilly, good question. The Honda guru aka Jimshorts may have a better answer. My opinion is, the reason why you have a brake rotor on the right is. Engineer's design the bike's. Think about the motor. Counter shaft, and gear shift is always on the left nowdays. Clutch and kickstart locations are on the right,.also your right foot controls the rear brake. Easy to plumb the brake line. lol Nice Kdub pic! ;D

sh*t i ment the rear break is on the RIGHT side...and i no its how its suppose to be...but how come lol why not both on the same side? THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER AND ROTOR ARE MOUNTED ON THE LEFT MAINLY DUE TO TRADITION (OTHEWISE YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE). THE FRONT BRAKE LEVER IS MOUNTED TO THE FRONT MASTER CYLINDER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HANDLEBAR. THE REAR BRAKE LEVER IS ALSO MOUNTED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BIKE. THE CLUTCH LEVER AND GEAR SHIFT LEVER ARE MOUNTED ON THE LEFT. SINCE THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE BUYING MOTORCYLES ARE RIGHT HANDED (RIGHT FOOTED) MANUFACTURERS ARE COMPELLED TO POSITION KICKSTART LEVER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BIKE. DUE TO THE COMPONENTS INVOLVED IN THE KICKSTART ASSEMBLY (THE KICK-SHAFT, GEARS, ETC) IT IS NECESSARY TO PLACE THE COUNTERSHAFT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE. IT'S SIMPLY MORE EFFICIENT TO DESIGN THE MOTOR THAT WAY. THUS, THE DRIVEN SPROCKET (REAR SPROCKET) IS MOUNTED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE REAR HUB IN LINE WITH THE DRIVE SPROCKET (COUNTERSHAFT SPROCKET). SINCE THE LEFT SIDE OF THE REAR HUB IS OCCUPIED WITH THE REAR SPROCKET, IT'S ONLY NATURAL THAT THE REAR CALIPER AND ROTOR BE MOUNTED ON THE RIGHT. WHAT DO YA THINK?

ON SECOND THOUGHT, THE REASON FOR THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER TO BE MOUNTED ON THE LEFT IS IT ALLOWS FOR A SAFE AND EFFICIENT WAY FOR THE BRAKE LINE'S SLACK TO BE DEALT WITH WHILE THE FRONT FORKS COMPRESS.

very nice bro. If I rode quads I would be damn proud to sit my ass on your seat. I wrote a big ass rebuttal for ms jordan but the damn thread was removed right after I finished it. Figures. Therefore Im gonna re-type it right here. Jordan you say Im a punkazz and I think Im bad to the bone. Punk I am not. I prefer hard rock. Bad to the bone I am not claiming to be although I can hold my own very well in a fight. Now I realize I am not driving to West Vagina to race you like your not gonna drive over here to race me so I guess whippin each others ass on a personal level aint gonna happen. I dont play Untamed on the 3 so you could beat me there easily. I play on the 2 so Im pretty sure I got ya handled there. So Im saying this, Lets end this little squabble right now. I get the feeling your little feathers are ruffled so what Im about to do I dont do for to many people and that is to help unruffle those things. First off, I need you to go somewhere private where you cant be disturbed. Next, drop your little pants. To the ankles will do just fine. Now then, stick your little fists out and hook up your thumbs like your doin a double fisted hitch hiker. When thats complete, reach back behind you and hook your extended thumbs into the edge of your undies. Run your extended thumbs down the sides until you have reached your little bean bag while gently pulling outward. When you finish, remove your thumbs and pull your pants back up. There you go, your panties have now been unbunched from your ass. Have a nice day kiddo.
