man my luck just keeps gettin worse. i seized up another engine like 2 weeks ago and were thinkin my jetting mite be off :/. it sucks really bad but kinda ironic cuz my dad just called n said were gunna be fixin it tonite ;d. ill post pics once i ride again  |

i assume you scream that beast like no other, have you put in a aftermarket water pump? it helps alot more then some think it would. i did it to mine and now it never really gets hot, even in the duns of glamis. which i love by the way. lol

no actually it seized up on me on my second lap of practice. i was still takin it kinda easy and checkin out the lines n stuff and as i was goin into a corner it seized up. we got it in the shop rite now tho. ;D

wow. did you guys do the top end yourselfs? if so, did you turn the engine upside down to insure that you got all the debree outta it? on my old bike, thats something i shouldve done. i didn't turn it over to blow out all the chips and crap< even though i had all the pieces of the piston in my hand, and it caused the piston to jam up and get really tight and over heated. it was during my break in stage too.  sounds like your dad knows what hes doing though. |

dirt it was the bottom end. we just had the top and bottom done and i did 2 races on it. the top end still looks brand new. there 2 things that cooda happened that weve thot of. the bearings were pressed in to tight so it caused it to lock upor the jetting in the carb might be messed up...

OOOOHHH. I C. LOL. HHMMMM. YEA, THATS A REALLY GOOD GUESS FOR THE BEARINGS. I AM NOT ARGUING THE POINT, BUT I FAIL TO SEE HOW BAD JETTING CAN CAUSE THE BOTTOM END TO GO. I MEAN, THATS FLUID FOR THE PISTON AREA, THE BOTTOM END HAS CASE OIL. WHAT OIL DO YOU USE? I WAS USING KLOTZ, AND MY CLUTCH WAS ALWAYS A LITTLE OFF FOR SOME REASON. THEN I SWITCHED TO THAT HONDA OIL, AND HOLY CRAP, ITS LIKE A WHOLE NEW ONE. LOL. IM JUST CURIOUS MAN, IM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND YOU OR NOTHING, JUST CONVERSATING. HOPE IT COMES ACROSS LIKE THAT AND NOT THAT IM TRYING TO BE A KNOW IT ALL. LMAO.
