oh and mikey, my lap time on xbox are better than ps3 Yeah, no joke - I hit a mid 1:08 at Oceanview on a 2 star 450, at level 32 in the game LoL - I found out that scrub master doesn't get unlocked until level 44, (ticked me off). ^ Note: my fastest lap time on the PS3 with a fully mod bike is 1:08. I've pretty much beatin all of my PS3 lap times. With the exception of a few - like JS7 Pro Loop, and 1 or 2 more... still not entirely use to the X-Box controller when playing on the more technichal tracks. I've not put any music on my X-Box 360 yet, though I don't think that I will. I don't really like to listen to anything while I'm playing, and sometimes I'll put the TV on mute so I don't hear the bike. Helps me focus better me thinks. I should be at TWT next week! See yall on the track! ;D

I'd really like to pick up a 360, but there's more to it than just picking up the console. The extra controller, the headset, the games. Before ya know it your're up to your bicep in the 360's sphincter. Not sure I want to get that stinky.

I do intend to look, it certainly appears as the Xbox is promoting the hell out of their machine. By articles I've been reading in various media outside of the gaming circles, Microsoft is about to take control of the home entertainment world in more ways than one.
I've been reading some very impressive statistics and some exciting prospects for the future of this technology. I love my Ps3 but I think it's day has come and gone. The Cell Broadband engine didn't turn out to be the world changing processor it was touted to be. Since I've jumped on the Android bandwagon looks like it may be time to jump on Mr. Gates hobby horse too.

" Spatial gestures" Other input methods are gaining traction too: Microsoft's Kinect, for instance, has given rise to interfaces that use spatial gestures. Just like in "Minority Report," your devices can be controlled simply by waving your hands in the air. Thanks to the many innovators who have hacked Kinect to work with other platforms, we may see more devices using this input method next year." CNN Dec. 19 2011" An update rolling out Tuesday for the Xbox Live network aims to do what Microsoft has been teasing for a while -- turn a platform designed primarily for video games into one that will be the major hub for all television viewing. Microsoft promises the update, which it calls "the future of TV," can "transform every Xbox 360 into an all-in-one device to enjoy your entertainment." "The update is another huge step toward realizing our vision of bringing you all your entertainment, shared with the people you care about, in an easy way," Marc Whitten, Microsoft's corporate vice president for Xbox Live, wrote on the official Microsoft blog. The Xbox was the first gaming console to include Netflix and has since added entertainment partners such as ESPN, Hulu Plus, AT&T U-verse and last.fm. But Microsoft, hoping a bevy of new apps will up the ante, is adding content from 40 new partners while making existing content easier to view. One of the free update's key new features will be a voice-control interface that will let users retrieve videos, television channels, games or other content simply by asking for it. The feature combines the Xbox 360's hands-free Kinect system with technology from Microsoft's Bing search engine to hunt down the content. Primarily billed as a gaming tool, Kinect uses a 3-D video camera and voice recognition to let the user interact with the TV screen without a controller. The new partners, or updated apps, to be unveiled Tuesday include content from ESPN, Hulu, Netflix and MSNBC in the United States. In the coming weeks and months, Xbox will add YouTube, Best Buy's CinemaNow, HBO Go, Major League Baseball and Comcast's Xfinity On Demand. Time Warner, HBO's parent company, also owns CNN. Microsoft said the update will also add social features, from voting on who you think will win the big game to tools letting you notify friends when you're tackling a multiplayer game they can join. At a time when technology heavyweights such as Apple and Google are trying to gain footholds in the interactive TV market, some analysts are saying Microsoft has become the player to beat. "Microsoft has just built and delivered it: A single box that ties together all the content you want, made easily accessible through a universal, natural, voice-directed search," wrote James McQuivey of Forrester Research. "This is now the benchmark against which all other living room initiatives should be compared." With 57 million Xbox 360s already in folks' living rooms, and 35 million of them connected to Xbox Live, McQuivey predicts that adoption of the new features "will spread quickly and with devastating effect." - CNN Dec. 5, 2011www.cnn.com/2011/12/05/tech/gaming-gadgets/xbox-upgrades-microsoft/index.html

Sloey, it just so happens that I've got this website that is just sitting around waiting for something to do. Maybe it's time to throw together an Alive series or something.

No worries Sloey, it was not my intention to stop racing TWT on Alive. Just mixing things up a little from time to time. Some of the guys here requested a TWT Reflex race. Whats better than a TWT race at 448? I enjoy both games, but neither one is greatness.
