scotty and I had a blast tonight on COD4 online. I'm still new at it so I sucked lol. Scotty was kicking ass though. I've got a problem though. Same problem Shannon had. I can't play MVA online on the PS3. It said that my network adaptor/modem/router wasn't detected. Which can't be true cus I was just playing COD4 online.
I followed all the steps right. I created the internal memory card on the PS3. Then ran the network startup disk and saved it to the memory card. Then I ran MVA and it gave me the no modem dectected message as soon as I went to multiplayer. I'm scheduled to ship my PS2 in the next couple days to the winner on the EBAY bid. Someone shed some light here please!!

Someone shed some light here please!! I play MvA on PS3 everytime. I remember I had to make a new network configuration when I went to go play it for the first time. I dont remember the details, but I did make a network config... saved it to the internal memory card for PS2 games on there, then copied my game from my memory card from my PS2 onto the same memory slot on my PS3 that I saved the new network config and everything worked out. If you need details... I think I may be able to go back and see exactly how I did it.

Thanks for the help everyone. I've tried everything that you guys have reccommended and still no luck. I set up the network connection just fine but when I try to play online it says that my network adaptor isn't hooked up. I just don't get the problem here. Obviously its working fine for PS3 games because I play those online just fine. This is pissing me off. =/

Cory if you have the ps2 network config your problem might be the game check out the compatabilty it has title hang at preceding network gameplay, for the 80GB. Maybe try another ps2 game online to see if that is the problem. The 60GB which I have is has the ps2 chip so no problems for me ;D. www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatusPSN- CURTB88

I was looking at the Playstation Store last night cory... and I seen in there a download for ''PS2 System Data'' you could try and download that. And there was another one... but I cant remember what it was. Just another idea... good luck.
