We’d like to inform you of some upcoming changes to the usage policies for PlayStation Network game content. As of November 18, 2011, the number of devices that can be activated on one PlayStation Network account for game content purchased from the PlayStation Store will be updated as follows: For game content purchased after November 18, 2011, a new policy will apply and the number of devices that can be activated will be as follows: PS3: Users will be able to play the game on up to 2 activated PS3 systems. PSP: Users will be able to play the game on up to 2 activated PSP systems. The content you purchased before November 18th will not be affected, so you will still be able to play those games on your PS3s as you do today. After November 18th, the first two devices you use with the new purchased content will be your active devices, and each new piece of game content you purchase will work on those two systems. If you want to change those systems, you can do so via “account management” on each device. blog.us.playstation.com/2011/11/04/upcoming-change-to-playstation-3-and-psp-game-content-on-playstation-network/So if anyone is sharing on more then 2 playstations thats going change on the 18th from 5 to 2. I don't want to be a party pooper but all that DLC sharing may have been what put Rainbow/Phoenix under. They were hoping to cash in on the DLC when they retailed the game for 40 bucks. Kind of shot them selves in the foot.

I agree jim. I'm sure it had to be a factor. But hey, they had them things priced so high, what could we do?? Lol.

Yeah I kinda saw this one coming I am surprised they didnt make it tied to your account not the playstation(so you can only use the stuff you bought on the name you bought it on. I think that how xbox does it).

Yup. That's the way of xbox. And just cause its on your profile1, it won't work on your profile2. They have it pretty figured out.

I hear ya Dirtman, the DLC stuff will nickel and dime you to death. It certainly seems to be the current trend with regard to video games. It's the industry's way of getting a profit from the used software market.
On a side note with regard to Alive. They dropped a ton of coin on promoting the game. From TV commercials to sponsoring the Supercross series (and all of the nonsense that went along with it at each venue). Not to mention paying Bubba to be involved (Lord only knows how much he pocketed form the game) as well as all of the other rider's names featured in Alive.
They'd likely have sold just as many copies and as much DLC if they'd opted not to blow all that dough on promotion. Word travels pretty fast in the MX community. Hind sight is always 20/20 though. Sure hope someone else picks up where they left off.

Oh hells yea! I mean, I think they made some great improvements from reflex for sure, but the biggest downfall is that we have what, 8 outdoors and no sx?? Come one, really? That's just dumb! We should've had bout 8 of both to start off then we can DLC the hell outta it from there! That was the biggest downfall to me. I can live without freerides too! Its cool, but not that cool. They just didn't invest smartly. And your right, they dropped their wallets off at the marketing office for the most coverage possible, and it didn't do much benefit!
