This years supercross season is going to be intence! No more the Bubba and Chad Reed show. We got some seriouse talent in both classes, and with more and more riders coming from different countrys every year is just making it more fun to watch.
My prediction is that Stewarts going to come out strong, but he's going to put to much pressure on him-self and crash. Chad, im predicting in the top 5. Dungey will make a few mistakes which will cost him the win.
We can't forget about the new people jumping into the 450. Weimer, Pourcel, and Canard.
Also what about RV, we seen seriouse speed from him last year before he crashed. Short will be coming out strong on the KTM. Millsaps on the new Yamaha. And the old guy KDub.
ANY of these guys can win a race, and its going to be some outstanding racing this year!
1. Canard 2. Dungey 3. Stewart 4. Weimer 5. Reed

Nice. I like the canard in first place brother. Good picks. Pretty realistic too I think. But you left out the experienced old fart.... kdub. Is he 6th.

I'm shooting KDub in about 8th. That's what I find really kills Windham for a tittle is that he starts out "slower" then the rest of the feild and slowly moves his way up to the front toward the end of the season.

Dude, I couldn't agree more. I think with a start in the main he should be podium. Or at least right there fighting for it most the race. But yea. Totally with you on the slow starts to seasons. Why I mentioned before that I hope the 2004 windham shows up. Ready to race, not see where he stands. But keeps that momentum from the end of 2010. I feel like he has yet to make his last five laps his best. That's always hurt his results. He's gotta charge to the checkers. If your chasing the leader(s) then the last 2 or 3 need to be when you close that gap.
But I will say he sounds really motivated and has had great success in this off season. I got high hopes, but am realistic at the sametime. For sure.
I think reed will make his goal of coming out healthy from A1. That, and beat stewart straight up. You know he wants that more then a championship. Just one race, and he will be the most excited reed we all have ever seen. I'm certain of it.
I'm expecting canard, dungey, and possibly alessi to get the better starts in the main. All great starters.
Dam I can't wait!!!! Its going to be crazy!!!!

If Stew can stay healthy, consistent, and not crash, he will win the championship. He definitely has the speed, but putting all three of the listed above together may be a bit difficult.
I agree that it will not be the Stewart and Reed show like it has been in the past. I think both of them will not be used to having that type of external pressure. So it will be interesting.
I'm not sure how Reed will do, I know that he has the speed to come out in Second, or possibly third depending on how Dungey does, though Reed also does not work good under pressure. Reed is now the owner/operator/manager/rider/and employer of his new team... and I don't care how you look at it... that's a lot of distractions. I think it will be difficult for Reed to come to the races and just focus on the racing like he has done in the years past. Though if he can put all of that aside, he should be a force to be reckoned with as normal.
I still think people have to high of expectations from Josh Grant. He has only completed one full season since he has been pro, and that was on a lites bike. Grant has flashes of brilliance, but he just can't keep it on two wheels. I also think Grant might have a different mentality now that he has a new born at home. We'll see...
Canard will be a top 5 guy, and I expect to see many podiums from him... he is consistent and doesn't buckle under pressure. Plus the fact that he is getting older equals a more mature riding style. Winning a championship puts people into a new type of mind state. I expect to see good things from him, but lets not forget one thing... this is still going to be his Rookie year...
K-Dub will do great, I honestly think that he will do better than last year, I expect to see him on the podium numerous times, and possibly a race win here and there. K-Dub is very fast, and shows a lot of speed. I also agree that it takes him a little long to get on the role with things, but let's not forget... he is a father and a husband, and he has said many times... that he has reasons not to get hurt... so we'll see what K-Dub shows up to the races ;D
RV has the same problem as K-Dub, it normally takes them both half way through the season to have a fire up under them! - The same thing with the past year... As always, I think that if the RV that was winning last year, shows up this year... and does well towards the beginning of the season, he will be a force to be reckoned with. Though I am not to sure about that... RV knows he is fast, but has not found his "place" in the class yet. He even said it himself, that ONLY when Reed and Stewart were out of the championship, did he think he had a chance... which shows a little intimidation and a lack of confidence. Hopefully Alden Baker is a big influence to him.
Weimer will be good, I think he might get a podium or two, SX is his ONE and only strong point. Though I don't think he has the confidence to do anything more than to be a top 10 guy.
Short will do good, like he always does. He is fast and consistent. And I am sure riding the 350 will be something that no one is expecting, since no one has raced against a 350 in SX yet. I do think that he should have stayed on the 450 though... After watching some video's of him testing... I don't think that the 350 has what it takes... the 350 is stellar on all parts of the SX track with one exception... the Whoops. If you watch those video's, he looks the same going through whoops as the lites riders. The 350 starts to bog down towards the end of them... and we all know that the whoops can definitely make or brake a race.
Dungey will win the championship or get top three... No one has ever won 4 championships in 2 years. I don't care who has been there, and who hasn't... that type of confidence is DEADLY. Winning your rookie year has proven to be a double edge sword... it either sets the tone of your racing career like it has done with many great riders in the past, or it can set you up for failure. Just like Canard and his rookie win, once you've done that, you now are "expected" to win and lots of other things come with it. In a sense the "bar" had been raised too high. Though I do not think that this will be the case for Dungey... He is not slow and definitely has a ton of speed and confidence. Not to mention he has the Goat as an assistant team manager, and is living on the Carmichael ranch, under the exact same training program that RC was on, and has access to everything that made Ricky Carmichael the GOAT. I am excited to see what he does, and I don't think that the same Dungey that used to buckle to pressure is the same Dungey that will show up to the races.
Pourcel?? To my knowledge... (Despite his press release dissing McGrath) He is still holding out for money / did hold out for money... and has his sites set on getting a contract for the Outdoors. So I'm almost willing to put money that Pourcel will NOT be at the SX races this year. At this point... it with roughly a month away, even if a contract was signed... that is not enough time to learn a new bike and do the weeks of testing and preparation that it takes to be test ready. Word in the MX community is that he is down in Florida riding jet ski's every day...
I don't care who comes out on top really... I just look forward to the stellar year of racing ahead of us! I didn't mention Millsaps or Tedesco because I don't think they will be in the top ten much this year... but we'll see. ;D

It sounds like Chad Reed will be running Shift gear. The press release is coming soon. I thought he was already wearing FOX. But FOX makes Shift gear, right?

I think fox bought out shift gear..... kinda like ford bought out mazda and volvo. At least, that's the way I understand the shift thing.
I'm sooo pumped right now! Got my tickets and pit passes for A1 on Tuesday and I am honestly going to go straight to kevin windhams hauler and get an autograph and conversate, then go directly to reeds area and get some pics of his bike and try posting them on here for all you folks. I also got word that I may have a connection to chill with josh grant. Man, if it doesn't work out, imma love watching the races regardless. Lol. HOLY SMOKES I CAN'T WAIT!!!
