So it appears that the "rumors" were true... Pourcel was holding out for money.
Kawasaki offered him $300,000 a year plus a nice bonus package for winning, which he turned down.
Then H&H Kawasaki matched the same offer that Kawasaki presented him with, and he turned it down too.
So who knows... maybe he will realize that making some money is better than making no money...

It is silly season again. Reed, Dungey, Alessi, and JS7 will be riding what bikes? There is a ton of rumors going around.

Here's what I'm expecting..... Honda: Reed (on his own deal again but with factory support) Trey canard (obviously) Either grant or tickle. I know broc just signed a deal, but I'm uncertain of who with....
Suzuki: Metcalfe (factory. The only one this far) Jgr is strongly rumored to run yellow I don't think that stewart will break his yamaha contract, but if so, I would think suzuki picks him up. I hope not! Tickle?? Kawasaki: Rv2 Weimer tickle??
Yamaha: See if those jgr guys stay putt... Stewart?? Possibly a dna shred stix yamaha 450 rider??
Ktm: Dungey(already done deal) Believe they are keeping shorty. It would be a great choice. Musquin Roczen
I may have missed a few names, but hell, there's a lot to remember nowadays! Lol.
I'm hoping stewart needs to start his own shnit like reedy did. It may humble him. Like when rc4 whooped his ass! Lol

Wow, Team KTM looks like it's going to be extremely strong for 2012. I can't wait to see how it shakes down. I'd be surprised if Honda doesn't put forth an effort to hold onto Reed. Weimer is looking like a solid rider for Kaw. Of course you can count on Villopoto to be strong on the green bike.
It may be a good idea for Yamaha to put Brayton on a factory bike. He could make a podium or two. Suzuki should go out on a limb and pop for Bubba. That bike would suit him well. The latest generation Yz-F sure as hell didn't. I'm a bit too far out of the loop to comment any further. Most of all, I'm stoked for KTM!

Lol. Jim, you da man, not wilson! Lmao!
I would love to see brayton get onto a factory ride! He's one hard worker and has some serious speed. Infact, he's closing in on the "main" front runners laptimes more n more each year. Rattray I'm on the fence about for sx. I mean, I agree that he could ride a 450 better then his 250. He's obviously strong enough for it too. But his sx just haven't really been refined I don't think. Of course, he's only had his one year in it. Lol.
I'm also with jim here, I'm super pumped for ktm putting out such a huge effort in stepping up there game starting in 2012! Seems like they've had trouble getting back up in the mixes since ryan hughs on the 125s. This last year was a great comeback year for them, by way of shorty n roczen. And musquin is starting to get his "mojo" back it seems.

Thank you DiRT625, but no matter how you try to deny or ignore it, Wilson is going to be one of the greatest of all time!
